Feeling good today, no problems as a result of the Colonoscopy yesterday. Morning workout went well. This is an easy workout, accounting for my Kettlebell class tonight.

Circuit – Repeat for 5 total sets with 1 minute rest between sets
Kettlebell Lateral Lunge
24 kg – 8 reps each leg
Rope Biceps Curls
100 lbs. – 15 reps
Rope Triceps Pushdowns
100 lbs. –15 reps

Used the 5K podcast, Week 2 for my 30 minutes cardio on the treadmill. I find this gets my heartrate up into the 130-150 range much better than other cardio machines I have used.

One of the things I noticed yesterday when getting prepared for the Colonoscopy was a resting heartrate of 55. It stayed at 55 until the nurse starting asking me all kinds of questions and it raised to 65. I was really impressed with such a low resting heart rate. BP was 125 over 80.

Had a great Kettlebell class. Did not do quite as well with my escalating density routine. I think I am still just a bit out of it from the procedure yesterday. This was our last class with Jim. In talking with Jim the group decided that we would meet on Tuesday evenings at the park and have a class. I hope this happens and I think it will be a great time. I am still going Saturday morning to check out the class in Medina. Life continues to suprise me with how things work out. I did not keep a records of everything we did in class tonight.

Jim did complete his certification at Kettlebell Concepts in NY over the weekend.

I’m so glad you’re feeling good and nothing bad was found during the colonoscopy! They’re a bit scary and the process the day before is not pleasant. My parents went through it.

Way to get back in the game! :)

I was not expecting anything bad but it was sure nice to hear the doc say there was nothing of concern. I am set for 10 years now. The doc was talking that is would not be long before we just swallow a “camera pill”.

Fight Gone Bad 5
What is a baby boomer?
People born between (and including) 1946 and 1964. After American soldiers returned home from World War II in1946, the United States experienced an explosion of births (hence the name baby boom) that continued for the next 18 years, when the birth rate began to drop. In 1964, baby boomers represented 40% of the population, which means that more than one third of the population was under 19 years of age. In the 1990s, approximately 76 million people in the United States were born in the baby boom years, representing approximately 29% of the country's population. Since baby boomers make up such a sizable portion of the consuming public, their spending habits and lifestyles have a powerful influence on the economy.
