Scales showed 229 this morning.
Completed this mornings workout. Moved up to the 32KG for the squats. I know I am not going down far enough on the squats. If I go down any further I will not be able to get back up. In the back of my mind I think Dave moved me up to the 32KG just to get me use to it. First of all, just getting it from the closet to the weight room is a workout in itself. Holding it in front while doing the squats gets me use to the weight. Maybe I am thinking too much.
Circuit – Repeat for 5 total sets with 1:20 minute rest between sets
Dumbbell Push Press – 45 lb Dumbbells – 12 reps
Bulgarian Split Squat (rear foot up on bench)
32 kg – 6 reps each leg…first use of the 32KG
Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns ( machine # 16 )
150 lbs. – 12 reps
I am in Chapter 8 of the BFFM Macronutrient Ratios – The Optimal Combination of Proteins, Carbohydrates and Fats for Improving Your Muscle-to-Fat Ratio. I am glad I made a printed copy of the book. It allows me to make notes. I am only on page 143 out of about 300. I am doing good on combining a lean protein and complex carbohydrate food at every meal.
As we had planned at the end of the Kettlebell class session, Jim met us at Hardesty Park to have our own outside Kettlebell Class. There was Jim the instructor, Camron, Burt, Pat and myself. Camron was new so Jim spent some extra time with him. It was totally different to be outside with plenty of room and no concern about hurting the floors. The class was not as intense as last weeks but I think we will kick it up next week. I am really looking forward to us being able to do this during the summer and fall.
I do hope thmeal preparation helps me this week because lately i’ve been feeling like i’m not making any gains….i’ve been feeling like i have less muscle and more fat.. when didyou start with bffm?
