No problems with workout this morning. Went to gym about 8A and very few people there so had plenty of room to work in.
Circuit – Repeat for 5 total sets with 1 minute rest between sets
Kettlebell Lateral Lunge
24 kg – 10 reps each leg
Kettlebell Renegade Rows
24 kg – 8 reps each side (alternate sides each set)
Kettlebell Pushups
24 kg – 8 reps each (alternate sides each set)
I have determined that my left shoulder is much stronger than my right. I have much more difficulity in doing the pushups when my right hand is on the floor. Much easier with my left hand on the floor.
The scales gave up another pound, showing 228
I should have gone to the gym this evening but I just could not get myself going. Well, let me restate that. I could have gone, all it would have taken was to stand up, get in the car, drive 4 minutes and walk into the gym. I simply did not do it. I feel guilty now that I skipped a good opportunity for an extra workout.
I will be at it again first thing in the morning. Friday workouts are always tough so I will be working hard. I am also hoping that the scales are not playing with me, that I will be able to hold onto the 228. That only leaves 3 pounds to my goal of 225. I think I want to go lower but the 225 will make my Doctor happy and put me in my “ideal” range for medical purposes. The other big challenge will be to hold on to the 225 until my next doctor appointment. That will not be until October.
