
Today starts the 12 week BFL Challenge with folks on youtube. Working on setting up my goals. My two main goals are that I will weigh 210 or less by November 25 and that I fit into the size 34 jeans I have purchased (without any old man muffin top).
Starting weight 225.
In the next few days I will be completing a write up for all the goals I have during the 12 weeks.
I have been meeting a lot of new people on youtube as a result of the BFL challenge. Actually found a gut in the UK that knows what a Kettlebell is. It’s nice to find someone that understands about kettlebells.
Had a hard workout this morning. Gym did not open until 8AM and I went about 9AM. I was suprised by the number of people there but I should have learned from the 4th of July that a lot of people go on holiday mornings. There were so many people there that I had trouble find space to do my workout. I have a space that I always use but someone was there. I did my core workout and then my place opened up. I need a lot of room on Monday mornings because I do Turkish Get Ups and Snatches.
All the people made me a bit on edge. I am always worried about someone getting too close while I am swinging around a Kettlebell. One of the guys working out really puts me on edge because he just goes from one thing to another and everything is very fast and loud. Reminds me of the UPS guy on the Mad TV skits.
I took 60 minute this morning which was much too long. I am really having trouble explaining to myself how I was able to do this workout in 38 minute a couple of months ago but have never been able to duplicate that performance. I must have just really felt good that day. I did have a guy come over to me and say “Those are real killers” as I was doing the TGU’s. I was so exhaused I could only look at him and give a nod. I was in no mood to talk during my Turkish Get Ups.
I did some math and figured out I am lifting 6,336 pounds with the Snatches.
Circuit – Repeat for 5 total sets with 2:30 minute rest between sets

8 kg – 10 each side
Kettlebell Snatch
24 kg – 12 each
Side effects from the Flomax have reduced. The only remaining thing is the dizzyness if I get up too quick. Unfortunally, the wanted effect of reducing my trips to the john have not yet materialized.
