
This week continues to be a challenge.
It’ Friday morning and I am still ill with stomach distress and still in pain from the dental procedure on Wednesday morning.
I did go to the gym yesterday and did my Push Press and Functional Trainer squats but only made it for 3 of the 5 sets I should have done. The workout caused my mouth to start hurting and my stomach became more and more upset. I was increasingly dizzy following the squats. I pushed through 3 sets but, for the first time ever, backed down and did not complete my workout. I was able to do a session of 20 minutes moderate cardio.
Finally did get my laptop repaired Thursday afternoon. Took the tech all day to get it going again. That wll relieve some of my stress and hopefully help me feel better.
Friday morning I woke with headache, upset stomach and mouth pain. Did not make it to the gym. I don’t know if I am giving in and should have pushed more or if my body is simply saying “take a break”.
Eating has gone well this week due in large part to my upset stomach.
Perhaps I will perk up by tomorrow and will be able to get a couple of workouts in over the weekend.
feel better soon terry and its probably good that you took some time to rest. there is a right and wrong time to push your self and when you ill is not one of them. you’ll get back into it I am start another activity challenge 40 days this time you wanna join me?
