Body for Life Challenge

Good solid workout this morning. Those 50 lb dumbbells were heavy this morning. Did good with the Squats, it’s getting easier to go down lower each time. Took my time on the lat pulldowns, making sure not to rush through them.

Circuit – Repeat for 5 total sets with 1:20 minute rest between sets
Dumbbell Push Press – 50 lb Dumbbells – 11 reps
Bulgarian Split Squat (rear foot up on bench)
32 kg – 8 reps each leg
Narrow Grip Lat Pulldowns ( machine # 16 )
160 lbs. – 12 reps

Did a 20 minute cardio. Able to get heart rate up to 143.

Starting to do research on Sarcopenia, the term for age-related muscle loss.

    I LOVE the lat pull downs, but I know what you mean about not rushing through them… I wrote similar notes on my routine Wed. “Scarpenia” sounds downright horrific.. lol.
