I was up at 3A. Went down to the sofa, still no sleep. Flipped on the TV and out I went. Woke up at 5A. DID NOT WANT TO GO WORKOUT. I just wanted to lay there. I kept trying to make deals with myself. I could go tonight, I already did one extra workout this week, it’s ok. Finally at 6A I just MADE MYSELF GETUP, put on my workout shorts, stumbled out the door and went to the gym.
Once at the gym I just started working like a speed deamon. I did my five sets and worked in the shoulder flyes during the rest time, meaning I did not rest at all.
Thursday
Core Circuit – same as workout 1
Circuit – Repeat for 5 total sets with 1 minute rest between sets
Kettlebell Lateral Lunge
28 kg – 20 reps each leg
Rope Biceps Curls 160 lbs. – 10 reps
Rope Triceps Pushdowns 160 lbs. – 10 reps
Face Pulls 100 lbs. – 8-10 reps
In the end I am really glad I went. I know the reality is I could miss a workout and life would go on. I also know that if I miss one workout, missing the next one will be twice as easy. My workouts are my priority. They are how I start my day. They are what I do. This was not a perfect workout in that I did not do my light weight shoulder exercises and I did not do my 20 minute cardio, but it was 100% better than laying on my ass.
Weight was 242. I don’t even want to talk about that.
Insurance adjuster stopped by yesterday to look at the truck. Last time I had a claim I took the vehicle to be looked at. I guess things have changed. They come to the vehicle.
Last night I hooked my cable up to my new PC. Now I can work on my blog, watch YouTube, watch TV all at the same time. Could I become over stimulated?
Angela (thinby40) took her blog down. Not sure what is up with that yet.
hey ya I had a decent nights sleep woke up twice but have been fighting a headache since Tuesday night thinks its finally gone made a video last night two parter how about that. It felt weird to make one after so long. hope you get a good nights sleep tonight. ya wonder why angela took it down I was surprised no warning or nothing, anyway take and nice to hear from you angie
Totally agree that if you skip a workout it will be twice as easy to skip another one! It is too bad Angela took her blog down.
Good job pressing on, as usual, Terry. I am continually getting better at not missing workouts. Making it a part of who you are means you will never go back. I miss Angela, too.
Have a good night and sleep well tonight. That’s an order.
