I had a great nights sleep and started the morning feeling good and at the gym at 5A.

Monday is always a long workout. I was really determined to do my very best this morning. My 24KG Snatches have really been a challenge.

Today I did my first 3 sets of 21 each arm with good form. No extra rests and I went from Turkish Get Ups to the Snatches without stop. I did take an extra 1 minute rest between arms on set 4 and 5. If I can eliminate one of the extra 1 minute rests for the next two weeks I will have this beat. This workout pushes me to the max but I feel really accomplished when compelted.

Started back doing the shoulder flyes. I will start back with the sholder rehab exercises tomorrow.

Monday
Core Circuit – Repeat 3 times with no rest, 15 – 20 lb – 12 each x 4 SH Flyes.
Circuit – Repeat for 5 total sets with 2:30 minute rest between sets
Kettlebell Turkish Get-Up 8 kg – 5
Kettlebell Snatch 24 kg – 21 each

I received my income tax refund by direct deposit on Saturday. I was just two weeks from when I e-filed them. I turned right around and paid off the two new PC’s and still have money to burn. I am so glad I have that done. So often I would be stressed and working on taxes on April 15th.

It’s No Fart Sunday!

One Response to “Monday”

  • One year in the not so distant past I waited until April 15 to mail my taxes. I drove to the post office around 7:00 pm to find a line of cars down the street and 2 18 wheeler semis at the other end. You drove up near the post office, there were postal workers on the street to collect your taxes without ever leaving your car. It was like something out of a movie! They threw the envelopes in bins and loaded them up on the semis. I plan on being much better this year! Should be done this weekend … fingers crossed!

What is a baby boomer?
People born between (and including) 1946 and 1964. After American soldiers returned home from World War II in1946, the United States experienced an explosion of births (hence the name baby boom) that continued for the next 18 years, when the birth rate began to drop. In 1964, baby boomers represented 40% of the population, which means that more than one third of the population was under 19 years of age. In the 1990s, approximately 76 million people in the United States were born in the baby boom years, representing approximately 29% of the country's population. Since baby boomers make up such a sizable portion of the consuming public, their spending habits and lifestyles have a powerful influence on the economy.
