Crossfit at 6AM. Eric and Tom with Brian coaching.
During the warm up doing knees to elbows (or belly, in my case) I noticed that my left shoulder was acting up. That is the first time that has happened. Usually it’s my right shoulder that causes a problem.
After our warm up and mini workout we worked on the skill for the day, kettlebell clean and press. I got off easy on this one because I have done thousands of them and actually have good form. They were a new movement for Eric and Tom.
WOD:
- Knees to elbows
Wall balls (20lbs ball)
- Repeat
21-18-15-12-9-6-3-1 times, for time
(that is a total of 170 movements)
Brian had me do weighted setups (20 pound ball) in place of the Knees to elbows. My left shoulder was not going to let me do that much work with my shoulder this morning. I did not get off easy. 85 setups with a 20 lb med ball in your arms is a job, at least for me.
I was way behind everyone in time. Eric and Tom were on fire this morning. I just kept plodding away and finished everything. Brian was pushing me on through the 9 – 1 sets.
It is a real aggravation to have something hurt to the point that you can’t do the prescribed movements. There is always another movement you can do so it’s not a reason to stop, just a reason to adjust.
It has rained all day. The snow is gone but it is still wet everywhere, including the leaves that I need to get cleaned up.

Good job keeping on going.
