-3 degrees this morning at 6AM as I traveled to Crossfit Class.

Eric and Tom with Brian coaching. Jerry, we really missed you this morning.

Eric and I did a 500m row instead of jump ropes this morning. That was a fun change.

Had a good Kettlebell warm up with swings and snatches.

I did perk up when Brian mentioned deadlifts for our WOD. That is one of the movements where I can excel.

Warm Up
20 KB Swings
10 KB Snatchs
5 Pull Ups
Repeat 2 times
Skill
Hang Clean
WOD
8 Deadlifts
15 Pull Ups
250 Rope Jumps
4 Rounds for time
Results
Tom 18:19 (135 LBS)
Eric 22:50 (225 LBS)
Terry 23:08 (250 LBS)

Got in a total of 200 more KB cleans this morning. I am 26.6% done. It was kind of strange without Jerry there watching and commenting on every freaking move I made while doing them but I did not let that hold me back.

I have to thank Chris for not making me hang out here all alone on the board.

We are starting a new challenge to run parallel to the current 3000 Clean Challenge.

It’s “How many cleans did you watch Terry do?”

Here is a really nice instruction video on deadlift technique.

Fight Gone Bad 5
What is a baby boomer?
People born between (and including) 1946 and 1964. After American soldiers returned home from World War II in1946, the United States experienced an explosion of births (hence the name baby boom) that continued for the next 18 years, when the birth rate began to drop. In 1964, baby boomers represented 40% of the population, which means that more than one third of the population was under 19 years of age. In the 1990s, approximately 76 million people in the United States were born in the baby boom years, representing approximately 29% of the country's population. Since baby boomers make up such a sizable portion of the consuming public, their spending habits and lifestyles have a powerful influence on the economy.
