Very cold this morning with a light dusting of snow. The wind seems to have stopped blowing quite so hard. I have a lose piece of siding some where because stuff was banging all night long. I will need to figure that out.

At the gym at 6AM for Crossfit class. Eric, Kelly (back from a couple of weeks being out sick), and David with Brian coaching. Looks like Jerry will not be will us all week because of mid-terms.

I picked up a new “speed” jump rope yesterday to try to help with my double unders. I got one in and then it went downhill. I will just need to keep working on the double unders.

The new Club 3000 starts today. I chose Push Ups. I am going to set this challange out and spend the time working on my double unders. My shoulders are still mush from last Thursdays work on Kipping Pull Ups. Lucky for me this mornings workout only required 75 jumping pull ups.

We worked on Med Ball Cleans. I could hardly hold the med ball, much less do a clean with it. From the arm pit up I am really hurting.

I did better in the WOD than I expected with my shoulders being so stiff and hurting. I always like doing deadlifts. It’s even better if Eric is doing the same workout. We both loaded up 255 for the deadlifts. Deadlifts are about the only thing I ever have a chance of getting an edge over Eric with so I relish those workouts, not that I am competitive or anything.

What is a baby boomer?
People born between (and including) 1946 and 1964. After American soldiers returned home from World War II in1946, the United States experienced an explosion of births (hence the name baby boom) that continued for the next 18 years, when the birth rate began to drop. In 1964, baby boomers represented 40% of the population, which means that more than one third of the population was under 19 years of age. In the 1990s, approximately 76 million people in the United States were born in the baby boom years, representing approximately 29% of the country's population. Since baby boomers make up such a sizable portion of the consuming public, their spending habits and lifestyles have a powerful influence on the economy.
