Fortunally the hives from yesterday did not make a second appearance. My upper lip is still somewhat swollen but nothing like yesterday. I think the episode was a combination of an early morning shower, some old chap stick and working really hard on the workout. That’s my best guess. The old chap stick is thrown away. I am going to forget the early morning shower before a workout in hopes that I don’t go through this again.

I actually slept well last night, 8PM to about 4AM and did not get up once. I just wish I could do that every night.

Eric, Kelly and Angie this morning with Brian coaching.

We worked on Turkish Get-Ups for our skill this morning. I worked with a 35 lb Kettlebell. Normally I don’t go that heavy on a TGU but it worked ok this morning, my right shoulder was able to take it.

  1. Dave Currie says:

Good work on the TGUs today, Terry. That’s much heavier than I could manage at present, probably twice actually. Glad your allergy/reaction did not make a reappearance – those kind of ailments can really take it out of you despite not seeming like much to begin with.
    cheers

  2. Debbie says:

Glad to see you are feeling better. Too bad that chapstick didn’t comply with your best if used by code. Me thinks it was the culprit. I have had mascara cause issues after short periods of time. I know you haven’t experienced that :) Congrats on staying on track!!

  3. I started getting a rash last night too itchy as a you know what. not hives. Although at leaast I would know what it was. Dr said xema (sp?) but I don’t think it is I think it is a reaction to something. anyway your doing great wish I could say the same. Angie

  4. ron says:
