CrossFit at 6AM. Pulled out the sweat pants this morning. 36 degrees.

Another packed house. 10-12 people is becoming the rule rather than the exception. The timing is perfect for the new building. Now that it is October 1st we can start the count down to November 1st when we should be in the new building.
Feeling better overall this morning and had a good workout.

I was watching Tomas and Eric and their weights on the Power Clean. I choked at the end and played it safe. I am sure I could have gone for the 175 but held back at 165. Sometimes it hard to find that spot right between being safe and stupid.
The Clean and Jerk at 135 was not a problem but as usual the wall balls slowed me way up.
Although I have felt a little out of it this week I have enjoyed the increased focus on strength building.
I did not have any lasting issue after the GHD yesterday. I am just really apprehensive that the GHD will screw my back up. It’s going to take a while for us to become friends.
Tonight at 5:30PM is the goodbye WOD for Danni and Jesse. I am hopeful that my schedule will let me get to the gym to say goodbye.
I jumped on the scale and had a big loss but I did not say anything since my official weigh in is in the morning. This is motivating me to really eat light today to make sure I hold onto the loss for tomorrow morning.
Suddenly there is a lot more talk about Zone and Paleo and weight loss in the gym. Not sure what is bringing this on but it’s a good thing. I think talking about weight and different plans in the gym will help everyone be successful.

What hurts today—Right heel still acting up in the morning. Once I get far into the WOD I kind of forget about it. Left forearm and right elbow sore from pull ups. I can whip out 5 pull ups pretty good at this point. I really am trying to focus on the actual way I move my body to get as much power as possible. All the different parts are starting to come together.
Debbie’s sister did not come home yesterday. We expect her to be released today. Debbie leaves on the 7th for her Myrtle Beach vacation so we are just hoping there are no more crisis situations prior to her leaving.
