Today’s WOD was about a 99.9 on the suck meter. Not a big fan of the pistols, only because they are a real weakness. They are an important part of my “I’ve fallen and I can get up” plan so I worked them as hard as I could.

Eating—On track. Made another batch of banana ice cream last night. One of the secrets is the temperature of the frozen bananas. If they are too cold they do not blend up, they just turn into dust. If that starts to happen you just need to let the bananas sit for a bit. Once they get to just the right temp they will start to blend into some nice ice cream.
What hurts today—Tried a few assisted pull ups and right elbow is still in trouble. Heel is not too bad today. I expect my hips to be fused together by morning after the pistols in today’s WOD.
Terry – you can blame me for this one. However, I found this and thought we should make a road trip:
http://crossfitsweatshop.com/ There having an over 40 only competition this month.
Eric,
Sounds like fun. The entry fee is sure reasonable but getting there kind of screws the entire thing.
Maybe we should put together something like this ourselves…..I said that as a joke but the more I think about it the better it sounds.
I am anxious to see what WOD they come up with.
It’s also interesting to see that they see an increasing need for this type of event in the future.

Over 40 comp…how about that!
Terry, how do you make the bananna ice cream? Is it Paleo?
