Worked on pull ups again this morning. Really fighting the elbow pain. Used the weight belt for a few.
Carl had the day off from school so I was fun to have him in class this morning.
Had real issues with the side and superman planks this morning. My shoulders were not holding me up.
Team workout this morning. At the end we all agreed that the most important person on the team is the one that can count the best. Keeping track of the reps done is a real challenge.
There was a significant improvement in time from the previous attempt at this WOD. The previous team times were 19:30 and 18:33. We shaved off about 3-4 minutes.
This WOD was much easier than I remember the previous one. I think we could have added more reps or another movement. As a total the group has really improved from the last time we did this. Of course, that was a year ago. We did this WOD on October 17, 2008. The years go by fast.
Here is what I wrote then about Gym Class Horror Flashback

Eating—Did my weigh in. 238.0 pounds. I was not surprised. I felt that I had not lost and perhaps gained. Not sure what happened. My eating has been the same but I need to step something up. Unless of course it is just a couple pounds of muscle. I am just going to stay on plan but do some tweaking.
What hurts today—Right elbow continues to be the biggest issue. I have really cut down the number of Pull Ups and the ones I do are just slow and steady. I was glad that the GHD work did not impact my back and my heel is not quite as bad today.
Debbie may be home from her vacation tomorrow evening unless they decide to stop over for the night.
Mom is doing much better now and will be able to go back to Curves Monday.
Unsure what might be going on with Debbie’s sister. I guess we will find that out when Debbie gets back.
Free Saturday class in the morning.
