101709 – Kettlebell Swing and Burpees

I did good this morning on the WOD. My hips were loose enough to let me do a good job on the Squat Thrusts (instead of burpees). I have come along way from having to use a box to modify the Squat Thrusts.

I did not do any pull ups this morning, giving my elbow a rest. I did practice my GHD set ups. Still trying to establish a working relationship with the GHD.

Only two week to go until we move to the new gym. Can’t wait!

What hurts today—-Big issue remains the right elbow. My heel was bad this morning but once I got moving it loosened up.

Eating—On track. Could not help myself and jumped on the scale after the WOD. Back down to 236.8. That is a good thing.

Picked up a big roast this morning to put in the crock pot.

Debbie and Hanna are on the road back from Myrtle Beach. Should be back in town 7-8 tonight.

Received our tickets for the 2009 Harvest Ball at Kent State on Sunday the 25th. Professional show will be by Luca and Lorain Baricchi. It’s been several years since we have been to one of these dances.

    I LOVE THE PICTURE!!! Man my shoes are very reflective! lol. I am very sorry I missed the Saturday WOD. Stupid car would not start. Possibly a fuel pump gone bad… grrr… HOWEVER!!! I have a kettlebell and there is no equipment needed for burpees so I might just have to do this one Sunday morning. We shall see…
