Without Steve, Eric, Kelly, Connor and some of the others that might come on a Monday morning we had a really small class.

It was fun to see Deadlifts go up on the whiteboard for the WOD this morning. I usually perform well with deadlifts.

I am cutting way back on my pull ups in the morning, shifting to working on the GHD. The pain in my elbow is becoming more and more difficult to deal with and it is starting to impact my other movements.

I was happy with my 315 3X max.

I was really moving slow on the metcom. Maybe it would sound better if I said I was going my normal speed. I was right next to Will and it seemed like we started on the Med Ball Thrusters at the same time but by the time I would get done with my 10 he had already done 10, did 10 sit ups and 10 push ups and was back on med balls again.

Picture from last week…trying to keep the plate off my head.
Keeping the plate off my head

Eating—On track. Having more red, green, yellow peppers, onions and ground beef today. Getting OCD on the scales each morning. I have to get away from doing that.

What hurts today—Bad night sleeping. Need to back off on the right elbow. I think I have just overworked it.

Debbie and Hanna returned from Myrtle Beach. They drove 13 hours on Saturday to get home. Already planning their trip for next year.

Mom’s appetite seems to have returned. Hopefully the gall bladder surgery was a large part of her issue and she will continue to feel better.

There was frost on the truck windows this morning. First time this year.

What is a baby boomer?
People born between (and including) 1946 and 1964. After American soldiers returned home from World War II in1946, the United States experienced an explosion of births (hence the name baby boom) that continued for the next 18 years, when the birth rate began to drop. In 1964, baby boomers represented 40% of the population, which means that more than one third of the population was under 19 years of age. In the 1990s, approximately 76 million people in the United States were born in the baby boom years, representing approximately 29% of the country's population. Since baby boomers make up such a sizable portion of the consuming public, their spending habits and lifestyles have a powerful influence on the economy.
