The numbers kind of speak for themselves this morning. I was not disappointed in what I did because I had great form but I was disappointed that I could not go higher in weight. I should have been up there with Eric, Tomas, Will and Brett in weight. Last time we did this I lifted more that Will and Eric. In addition to the right elbow hurting there is also something going on with my right upper arm that is holding me back in weight so I will just wait for another day.

For the metcom I did OK with the Med Ball Cleans and the KB Push Press but my mountain climbers were a disaster. The tribe would have had no choice but to leave me at the bottom of the mountain as a dinosaur treat. My hips are almost unmovable.

Steve was a mutant today as he experimented with body art/decoration while doing his Push Jerk. Below is the evidence of his efforts. If you think this looks bad you should have been there before we pushed the bone back in. How you can mess up your leg by pushing something overhead is somewhat of a mystery but Steve proved you can do it. Steve, I know you are going to get pass the 100 mark next time for sure. You were really pushing it this morning.

Eating—Derailed a couple of times but still clinging to the track.

What hurts today—Hips are causing a real issue. Right heel and elbow hurting and pain in upper right arm impacted Push Jerk results today. Checking into how much a “scoot around” is going to cost. Maybe cheaper than CrossFit.

Scooter

Here I am doing my test drive at a local Barberton scooter showroom.

Debbie’s sister remains in ICU. She has been there since Sunday. The situation is not life threatening at this point but they are unable to control her blood pressure and will not move her to a regular room until they can. Hopefully she will be able to go to a regular room soon. From some limited conversations we have had with some hospital staff it looks as though they are starting to agree that she will not be able to return to her home to live on her own. We are just waiting to see what piece is moved next in this chess game. The ideal situation is that we can somehow get her placed in a senior citizen residence. There is a high rise senior housing facility that we can see from our house. That would be a perfect solution. Time will tell. Sometimes things do work out.

sorry to hear about your sister in law.

as for “clinging to the track” that is awesome wording! Cling! Cling!
