What is a baby boomer?

People born between (and including) 1946 and 1964. After American soldiers returned home from World War II in1946, the United States experienced an explosion of births (hence the name baby boom) that continued for the next 18 years, when the birth rate began to drop. In 1964, baby boomers represented 40% of the population, which means that more than one third of the population was under 19 years of age. In the 1990s, approximately 76 million people in the United States were born in the baby boom years, representing approximately 29% of the country's population. Since baby boomers make up such a sizable portion of the consuming public, their spending habits and lifestyles have a powerful influence on the economy.

Had a fun class this morning. Everyone seems to like the team workout setup. My best event this morning was the tire flips. I usually do well at lifting and pushing things. I was consistent in everything but very slow. Still fighting a lot of pain and stiffness. I did find that by the last round of GHD set ups I was getting a much better range of motion and really increased my depth going back.

Tomorrow is the first Saturday WOD in the big box so I am anxious to see what kind of turn out we have.

Eating—Sucks. Skipped my weigh in this morning.

What hurts today—Overall it has been a really bad week for stiffness and pain. I am really hoping that I get the shot I need in my heel this morning at the Doc’s office.

Debbie’s sisters situation continues to be serious although she is out of ICU. Just day by day.
