Josh joined us for the first time while he is home on leave for a couple of weeks. I think we showed him a good workout.

As I was doing some of my warm up activities my back popped but I just ignored it. I made it through the morning OK so we will see what happens tomorrow. Many times this happens and I don’t really feel it until the next day. Maybe I will get lucky this time.

It’s day 5 of 100 Burpees.

The Team WOD was fun and I was pleased with how well Conner and I did. There is a 46 year age spread between us. The only modification we made was to use a 8 pound med ball for the ball toss. If we had used the 20 lb med ball I might have knocked Conner into the next block during the ball toss.

Will and Brett came is first which is what was expected. They would have both had to have broken a leg to not come in first. They were a fast, strong and competitive team.

Wayne really held on until the end as the last man rowing. This was a really tough combination of moves for someone new.

Free Saturday Class tomorrow.

Eating—No comment

What hurts today—Just a bit of ache in the right hip. Did pull my back but I am hoping that it does not turn into anything. It is great to be able to walk around without my heel hurting. I am going to enjoy this as long as it lasts.

It’s another vacation day for me. I plan to work on leaves. Looks like another beautiful fall day.

Debbie’s sister was moved back to a regular room yesterday. Still a very serious situation. All we can do is go day by day. No idea what tomorrow will bring.

What is a baby boomer?
People born between (and including) 1946 and 1964. After American soldiers returned home from World War II in1946, the United States experienced an explosion of births (hence the name baby boom) that continued for the next 18 years, when the birth rate began to drop. In 1964, baby boomers represented 40% of the population, which means that more than one third of the population was under 19 years of age. In the 1990s, approximately 76 million people in the United States were born in the baby boom years, representing approximately 29% of the country's population. Since baby boomers make up such a sizable portion of the consuming public, their spending habits and lifestyles have a powerful influence on the economy.
