Continuing to work on 100 Days of Burpees. I am up to day 25.

For the warm up we worked on Kipping Pull Ups. I am the big one on the far left.

Actually this picture is not fair. Several people in the class were doing a great job of getting their kip on. Sometimes when the situation is so overwhelming the only thing I can do is treat it with humor.

After the kipping the fun fest continued with rope climbing. Accomplishing a rope climb is going to take some work for me. The primary focus for this morning was learning the proper technique for your feet and how to use them with the rope to make the climb easier.

Brian strongly urged Will use his feet with the rope to assist his climb this morning and not just pull himself up the rope by his arms. In typical Will fashion he wrapped his feet around the rope and started up…..and pulled the rope on up to the top wrapped around his feet. It was a true Will moment.

My experience with the rope was too painful both physically and visually to remember. I have erased it from my mind.

The WOD was very challenging. I started out with 75lbs but had to go down to just the 45lb bar. Even at that it was a huge struggle.

For today I will just hold onto the hope that tomorrow might be better. It could happen.

Eating—Some success here. Did really good yesterday and should be able to do the same today.

What hurts today—Pick a body part….it hurts.
