What is a baby boomer?

People born between (and including) 1946 and 1964. After American soldiers returned home from World War II in1946, the United States experienced an explosion of births (hence the name baby boom) that continued for the next 18 years, when the birth rate began to drop. In 1964, baby boomers represented 40% of the population, which means that more than one third of the population was under 19 years of age. In the 1990s, approximately 76 million people in the United States were born in the baby boom years, representing approximately 29% of the country's population. Since baby boomers make up such a sizable portion of the consuming public, their spending habits and lifestyles have a powerful influence on the economy.

CrossFit at 6AM. Cold but still no more snow.

Not real productive prior to class. Did get some light deadlifts in.

The ring holds on the big rings went OK. I was able to get up in the hold position but I have to get a better lock out with my elbows. Also, my neck is slipping down into my shoulders, like a turtle, and I need to correct that. I feels good to be successful with the ring holds.

The WOD was a challenge with the thrusters. Getting a deep, fast and consecutive squat as part of the thruster is just not happening for me so my thrusters are really a mini squat push press. Swings were good and I did box steps rather than hops or jumps. My heels and ankles are actually starting to ease up a bit and I am not going to do anything to set them off if I can help it.

Eating—On track. Still holding at 242.

What hurts today—Feeling good, just a bit of soreness in my right ankle/heel. I have had a headache since yesterday afternoon. When I started back on Paleo on 1-4 I had headaches for about a week then they stopped until yesterday. No clue where these are coming from.
